Walter's mother had a bad flu so he decided to sneak out of his house to get his mother her medicine. The power was out and he forgot to charge his phone so he couldn't call a cab or his friend Rusty to pick him up. It was raining pretty lightly when he left, but by the time he was 2/3 rds the way to the pharmacy in downtown Paw Valley, it started raining really hard! He was able to get his best friend, Rusty, who works in downtown, to drive him home.
