Walter's New Painting

This is my most important character, Walter Ringtail. I really should have gave him a proper introduction when I started the blog because I even named the site after him. Walter is a gifted raccoon artist who started out doing paintings of houses, landscapes, and portraits. They are all very nice paintings, but Walter wanted to take a different direction with his art. He started to get involved in symbolic modern art. He is painting "Candy Rope to Heaven" and it symbolizes the love that he has of his new art style. The painting that he has on the wall is called "Hot Bent Spoon" and this is Walter's symbolic self-portrait. He thinks that he is seen as some useful modest tool, but in reality he sees himself as some kind of revolutionary artist and considers himself to be untouchable. Unfortunately, Walter has a very big head.

Rusty's Flashback

O.K. This piece involves little Rusty Boulder trying to keep his dad from embarrassing him in front of the rest of his family. Rusty's dad sees this as being harmless, but Rusty really never liked his dad telling jokes about him. Rusty never likes to see others made fun of and tries to be different from his father. Rusty developes a very good heart over time. Unfortuately, Rusty becomes overly sensitive about the way other's see him. When I started this piece, I wanted to do some kind of lighting experiment with fire in a darkened room. It looks good to me and I hope that you like it to. This scene would also explain why Rusty likes to hang out with Walter, his raccoon friend, all of the time.

Holiday Shopping

This is my oldest colored Christmas picture. I just thought that it would be nice to show this to you, especially since tomarrow is Christmas. In this scene Walter Ringtail, the raccoon, and his best friend the bear, Rusty Boulder, are walking through downtown Paw Valley. They are enjoying each other's company and chatting while doing their holiday shopping together. I hope that you like this picture, even though it is my first colored Christmas picture. Anyway, I hope that all of you are done doing your holiday shopping by now because even in a bad economy, the stores will be very busy for last minute shoppers! I wish you and your family only the best! Have a very Merry Christmas!
