Rusty's Wild Ride

Santa wasn't feeling good so he went looking for someone who could take his place on Christmas Eve and went to Paw Valley and recruited Rusty to deliver his gifts to the world's children. Then Rusty recruited his best friend, Walter, and Razortooth to help him with the incredible task that lies ahead of him. After Rusty left the ground, despite having the strength of a huge grizzly bear, he found out how tough it was to drive a sleigh being pulled by magic reindeer moving at the speed of light!

The Ghost and the Seance Skeptic

Strange things happen in Paw Valley every year around Halloween. Fences get heavy scratch and tooth marks, trash cans get turned over, food others get eaten when no one is looking, and many other strange occurrences happen through the nights of late October. There's a story that has been going around for decades blaming the angry ghost of Zackariah Wolfbite. He was falsely blamed for all problems in Paw Valley and passed away 113 years ago. It is believed that his spirit haunts the town and is getting back at the it for blaming everything on him, he just wants to live up to what they thought of him when he was alive.

One Halloween Night, Walter gathered together his friends Rusty, Ringo, Lester, and Razortooth to hold a séance in his home and try to calm Zackariah, bringing him peace and giving him an apology so that he would give up his mischievous behavior after death and leave Paw Valley in peace. However, Razortooth has been skeptical the whole time and blurts out what he thinks of the ghost!

Ticklish Alligator Pirate Punishment

Since the Tickle Beaver Pirates caught Razortooth the Terrible trying to steal their treasure chest of gold and diamonds, they punished him with tickle torture for fun! They tied his hands and feet to parts of the ship and went wild listening to him roar in laughter while wiggling and squirming about like a fish out of water! 

Of course they eventually let him go free, but not until they are sure he learned his lesson! 8D

Tickle Beaver Pirates and the Unfortunate Gator!

Razortooth the Pirate knew about some gold and diamonds that the Tickle Beavers had on their ship. He knew the beavers always took an afternoon nap and thought that he could sneak on aboard their ship. What he didn't realize that one beaver noticed the nearby ship, he couldn't nap, and told the rest of the beavers that an intruder just climbed onto their ship! They were ready for anyone, they practiced how they would take down intruders and they were great with ropes and lassos! Razortooth managed to get the chest of gold and diamonds, but the beavers quickly pulled his hand off of the chest and captured him! Now the beaver pirates will get ready to give him his ticklish punishment! 8D

Relaxing by the Palace

While visiting San Francisco again, Rusty and Razortooth decide that the lake by the Palace of Fine Arts is a nice place to take a dip and float around in the water. Them being two animals, a grizzly bear and an alligator, rarely seen outside of their natural environment, or a zoo, they get a lot of attention from those visiting this beautiful park! 8D

The Palace of Fine Arts was built in 1915 for the Panama Pacific World Exposition to celebrate the building of the Panama Canal, which is thousands of miles away, but San Francisco used it to show the world that the city was fully rebuilt and nicely put back together after the great Earthquake of 1906.

Gator Turtle Swamp Party!

This is Razortooth, alligator with the banjo, and his old dancing turtle friend, Toby, having a little raft party in the middle of a swamp a couple of years before moving to Paw Valley! 8D

This Land is Your Land

After I made my 4th of July drawing, only a little more than a month and a half from this post, I recorded many patriotic songs on to my phone from Rhapsody and my favorite was "This Land is Your Land" by Woody Guthrie. 

I just love the song because it describes America in a beautiful way, it includes redwood forest, diamond deserts, fog lifting, and it is just so fun and inclusive. It's what America is supposed to be!

So in honor of this song, I decided to make a drawing about and how my bear, Rusty, is describing all of this to his friends. It's just a cute symbolic picture that describes some of the best physical elements of America.

It goes like this:

From California to the New York island;
From the red wood forest to the Gulf Stream waters;

Yuck Face Gator

Elizabeth Forest invited both her boyfriend, Uncle Fang, and Razortooth, despite Uncle Fang's doubts, to have dinner with her. Razortooth was looking forward to something nice and meaty, but when he found out that she was serving tofu veggie loaf with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes he said, "Ewww! Yuck!" and just showed her what he thought of the meal! Razortooth really needs to learn some manners!

Good King Grizzly Bear Wenceslas

This drawing I made is based on one of my favorite Christmas Carols, Good King Wenceslas! The song is a story of a king from the Middle Ages that felt bad for a peasant that he spotted out his window. Wenceslas decided that the peasant could use some good cheer so he got his page to gather food, wine, and pine longs for the poor man. Wenceslas and his page journeyed through the cold windy night to the peasant's home, but the page couldn't long endure the cold weather so, he told the page that he would warm up if he put his feet in his footsteps. By miracle, the page, along with the king was able to make it to the peasant's home and bring him these gifts. I love the story because it tells that it is better to give to the less fortunate and help your fellow man than to be full of greed. Thanksgiving Turkey Dance

Todd the Turkey was chosen by Uncle Fang for Thanksgiving Dinner, but it turns out that Todd happens to be a talented dancer and singer too! Todd is pretty smart and may have his own plan up his feathers! 8D

The Wet Paint Mess

Razortooth the alligator got a job at the local mall and just painted the inside of the Men's Restroom. Rusty the bear just got to the mall and had to go really bad and didn't notice the "Wet Paint" sign above. On the way out he brushed his fur against the wall. When he came out Razortooth told Rusty to look at his side and the poor bear was covered with blue paint!

Gator and The Ghost Riders

Razortooth is playing the part of the man who spends his life doing bad deeds, use your imagination, he's not exactly a saint you know. Anyway, he rode through the desert on his horse, Buster, and he finally decides to take a break and get comfortable when all of the sudden he is confronted by the sight of demon cows and ghost riders! One of them, the ghost of a dingo calls him out and gives him a warning that unless he becomes a better person he is doomed to join the riders chasing the Devil's Herd for all eternity!
